PDCS Publications

In recent years PDCS started to develop its publishing activities. Topics of the books, brochures, and handouts come from the PDCS mission and are copying the priority program areas. PDCS publishes the books in the following topics:

  1. Readers and textbooks
    publications focused on one area/ topic, they bring new knowledge, cover the topic thoroughly, they are synoptic and innovative.
  2. Handbooks for trainers and consultants
    combination of theorethical knowledge and exercises focused on trainers. Reader will receive clear overview on theory in particular topics and selection of methodology (simulations, exercises, games with psychological potencial) for trainings and long-term consultation processes.
  3. How-to publications
    focused on specific topic. They are designed mostly for practitioners whom need clear instructions. Publications contain different exercises, working sheets, questionnaires.
  4. Case studies and analyses
    are designed mostly for practicioners whom need clear overview in specific topics and practical examples of other similar projects/ activities. They give examples of successfull case studies, needs analyses or evaluation of programmes.
  5. Other
    give experiences of PDCS staff members processed as an essay. They present the values and PDCS mission in non-traditional way.
