Guidelines for involvement in projects
Would you like to involve us in your project?
We take seriously and with great responsibility our involvement in any project – whether small or large. We want our work to bring meaningful results and we decide accordingly on offers of involvement in a project.
For high quality of a project, its preparation phase is very important. It indicates how the project will be run. We are aware that the ideal case of thorough preparation has its limitations such as time pressure, limited opportunities for personal meetings, special donor requirements, or any of many other factors. Still we try to prepare ourselves well for the project. We therefore follow the following principles:
In case we are to become PARTNER in the project and sharing responsibility for it:
- We need sufficient time for preparation. In smaller projects we generally require one month’s time before submission of project proposal. With financially larger projects or with projects involving greater number of partners, we need three months’ time before project proposal submission.
- We need transparent and sufficient information. After our preliminary confirmation of interest in the project, we need information to give us sufficient understanding of project goals. We also require to see all key parts of the project that exist already. In particular, they are: overall project objective, its expected activities, its preliminary budget, and the expected level of co-financing. Important to us is also project initiator’s understanding of our role in the project.
- We want to participate in making decisions. We require that the time schedule of project preparation and communication allows us to participate in making decisions about project structure, at least to the degree of our involvement. We want to have influence over the design of those project parts which we shall carry responsibility for.
In case we are to become a SUBCONTRACTOR of the main applicant:
especially if our name is mentioned in the project proposal – all conditions apply as described in part A, but only to the extent of our involvement (for example, we do not require description of all activities or the overall project budget but we want to help formulate that part, in which we are involved).
Specifically, we ask all organizations interested in our services not to take selected information from our website and use it in their project proposals without notifying us. For the design of the activities to be meaningful and targeted well towards achieving project goals, it requires further modification and further input which are not available at the website.
We are looking forward to our good cooperation!
